Purpose

Products are a key component in building a comprehensive service plan. By assigning products in step 3 of service plan creation, you're specifying the tools and items that will be utilized to deliver the service. This provides clarity on what will be used during the service delivery.

Requirements for Creating Products

To set up a product, you need a few basic details:

  1. Photo: An image that represents the product. This helps in visually identifying and differentiating between products.

  2. Name: A unique identifier or title for the product.

  3. Description: A brief summary or detailed overview of the product, explaining its features, use, or any other pertinent information.

Rules for Managing Products

These rules are applied on a per-company basis within the Smarter Launch application. While each company must adhere to these rules within its own settings, the rules do not extend across different companies.

  1. No Duplicates: Each product should have a unique name to avoid any confusion.

  2. No Deletion When in Use: If a product is already assigned to a service plan, it can't be removed. It's locked in until it's no longer linked to any active service plans.
