Purpose
Photo Description Sets add clear, consistent context to images in proposal templates—especially within the Inspection Photos section. They pair visual evidence with standardized text so recipients better understand each image.
When creating proposals and uploading photos in the Photo Layouts section, these sets help ensure descriptions are consistent across templates.
Description sets are also used for California WDO codes.

Bulk Options – Allows you to quickly reuse photo description options across templates, saving time and ensuring consistency
JSON Representation – Photo Description Sets and their options can be stored as structured JSON for advanced use cases or integrations
Creating a Photo Description Set
To create a new set, provide:
Name – A unique, identifiable name
Options – One or more entries containing:
Photo Title – A short headline summarizing the image
Photo Description – Detailed explanatory text
Recommendations – Suggested actions, follow-ups, or notes
Rules
Rules apply per company within Smarter Launch and do not carry across companies
No Duplicate Sets – Photo Description Set names must be unique
No Duplicate Options – Each option within a set must be distinct
