Introduction

Creating referral sources in PestRoutes (by FieldRoutes) is a straightforward process aimed at tracking the origin of customer proposals. The goal is to gain visibility into which referral sources drive the most value—and use these insights to refine your strategies for even better results. Leverage concrete data to double down on what’s working and adjust what’s not.

In PestRoutes, an essential but unavailable ID in the API is needed to enhance integration and provide feedback on the referral source.

Note: FieldRoutes integration supports importing these automatically, and will push the source back to FieldRoutes on customer creation.

Search FieldRoutes Settings

Locate the source ID next to the referral list in your FieldRoutes account settings.


Input Referral Source Details

Add the name of the referral source, a descriptive text (optional, e.g., Instagram influencer), and the source ID.


Summary

These referral sources become valuable when creating new customers. During customer creation, users can easily apply the relevant referral source, allowing for efficient tracking of the customer's origin.
